Hello,

We are using a clustered PRTG environment and I was wondering if it is possible to use one IP address to reach the active node?

We would like to go to https://prtg.company.com to reach the active PRTG node even if the master node is not available.

The same goes for the mobile application. It looks like push messages stop working once the master node is unavailable.

Regards,

Rick Engie Services.

Hello Rick,

I'm afraid from PRTG's side there's no option to make that possible, since it cannot "fool" your network and somehow reroute requests to the failover in case the master node is down.

When logging in to the failover, do you see errors in "Logs | System Events | Notifications" regarding push notifications around the time when push notifications should have been sent?

Kind regards,

Erhard
