Thank you for your KB-posting.

The Remote Probe needs to run the very same version of PRTG as the Core Server does. Please download the proper installer for the Remote Probe from your Core Server

https://<your Core Server>/downloads.htm?tabid=3

and install it on your Remote Probe.
