I have a new installation of PRTG on Windows 10 Pro. I followed instructions per the installation video, but the Core Server Service will not start...it remains in a 'starting' state.
I was able to disable to the service, reboot, and change the web server port from 80 to both 443 and 8888 and select only the IP address of my network card (not the loopback address or the address of any of the virtual network cards), but the service would not start with either change.
I don't know what else to try. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
As a first step, change the startup type of both PRTG services (PRTG Core Server Service and PRTG Probe Service to manually and restart the machine. Afterwards, open the PRTG Administrator Tool on the PRTG host and try to start the service below the Service Start / Stop tab. Is there any error message displayed?
It also helps to disable anti-virus solutions to prevent conflicts while troubleshooting.
Best regards, Felix
