Hello,
Has anyone found any issues in installing and running correctly/effectively PRTG on a Google Cloud VM?
Also, has anyone had better experience with a particular flavor of Linux, such as RH or Ubuntu, over another?
Thanks!
John

Hi there,
Unfortunately, we don't have any metrics how well PRTG runs in the Google Cloud. We are currently releasing our PoD service (PRTG on Demand) which is hosted in the Amazon Cloud.

Please note that PRTG cannot be installed on a Linux operating system. The PRTG Core Server and the PRTG Remote Probes have to be installed on a Windows OS. However you can use the Python Mini Probe which runs well on a Linux host, it just has limited options and sensors.
Best regards.
