Hello,
is it possible to configure PRTG to use not just one, but two probes to monitor some very important servers? In case of outage of primary PRTG probe, the backup probe should keep collecting the data.
I've seen that PRTG has some sort of clustering for its core server, but what about clustering probes?

That's sad. Do you ... at least ... have "clustered probes" in your future plans, please?

Dear R
We have no plans to offer a cluster feature for probes. The current failover option covers a lot of high-availability requests. We are working on features for which we expect much higher usage than a clustered remote probe.

Dear R
Probes cannot be clustered. The only option is to setup multiple remote probes and clone all groups on one probe to the other.
However, any further change has to be done on both probes, there is no option for an automatic change on the other probe.
If you don't need a remote probe to monitor those servers, you can use the PRTG cluster and put those sensor on the cluster probe. This one is configured through the master and automatically changed accordingly on the failover.
