I am aware of the per user view controls to set a Maps refresh interval, but I'm looking for a way to change/set the default to 10Min. Is this possible?
Article Comments
I know most of the time these maps are up on TVs with full screen browser windows set to the same map for long periods of time without any interface.
If we could add a variable onto the URL that would be really helpful.
Something along the lines of prtg.domain.com/public/mapshow.htm?id=2449&mapid=36352352323d&refresh=90
If we could define our own refresh rate that would solve a lot of problems I'm having with the maps.
Thanks

Dear Kyle,
this is possible actually. The parameter is
&interval=75
to have the refresh on 75 seconds for example.
best regards.

Is this command for the map to update with less time? Where do I find the file to add this line?
Thank you!

The &interval-parameter controls every which seconds the map triggers a page refresh via the browser of the displayed content. Bear in mind, the map itself will always display the last value of sensors and their current states. Shortening the display refresh interval of the map, won't change the interval of the displayed sensors which actually are pulling sensor data.

Hello,
thank you very much for your KB Post! I'm very much afraid an explicit refresh-interval for a map can only be set for a public map. Then with the "Refresh"-Button in the buttom-right corner of the map itself:

best regards.
