Hi all, hope to clarify my doubt about something that is happening with my PRTG, i've got a hundred of sensors where i need to trigger the utilization of the port at minimum 80% of the capacity of the port, i used Threshold Trigger and set at 80GB for 100 GB interface, the problem is that PRTG are not sending any notifications when there more than 90 GB and even 100 GB !!! ... i'm wondering if the PRTG just sent the notification when the traffic goes near to the threshold ?? ... i want to be clear that i am not doing notification summarization, do i need configure trigger for 80 , 90 and 100 GB ?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions or comments.

Regards.

Erm, those limits are a bit high ;) What exactly do you want to measure?

The utilization of those links, some days reach more than 80 Gb, and i didn't receive the proper notetification.

You have configured a speed trigger where you need a volume trigger instead. This way, the notification only triggers if the link speed goes above 80gbit for more than 60 seconds ;)

Yep i know, the problem is that the link reach sometimes 90 Gb and didnt goes down until 2 or 3 hours, and PRTG didnt sent the notification

Is the link actually capable of those speeds? Was it in an up state in between (so it never was down more than the specified amount of seconds to trigger the notification)?

Of course that the link support that speed, is a 100 GB Link :) ... the think is that i don't like to create to much triggers , the reason here is why if the link goes up to 80 GB and ever higher the notification didn't work
