I am currently using PRTG version: V15.2.17.2804

We have two new ESXi hosts running 6.5 but I am unable to add any VMHost (SOAP) sensors. I receive the following error:

Unsupported namespace 'urn:vim2' in content of SOAP body while parsing SOAP body at line 1, column 207 while parsing SOAP envelope at line 1, column 38 while parsing HTTP request before method was determined at line 1, column 0

I'm new to monitoring and slowly learning how it all works. I've tried running an auto-discovery. I've made sure the credentials are correct.

Hello Jack,

The PRTG version 15.2.17.2804 is outdated since it's almost two years old and therefore, we cannot guarantee that newer version of VMware are working in this version. The latest version of PRTG works with VMware 6.5. It will require an active maintenance contract to update PRTG to the current version.

After prolonging the maintenance, you can use the auto-update feature so that you will be able to add these VMware servers to the monitoring.
