I was attempting to add an IBM System X Logical (or) Physical Disk sensor to my servers however upon trying to download IBM Systems Director, I can see the product has been withdrawn.
Is there a workaround or a fix coming for this?
What are other users doing?
Interestingly, I can still monitor a system using IBM System X System Health by querying the IMM, but if I try to add the IBM System X Logical (or) Physical Disk sensor, I get the standard PE188 error.
I can query the temperatures, fans and voltages using the Health sensor, as well as SNMP uptime all via the IMM>
Thanks guys!
Hello,
Thank you for the KB Post. We were not aware that the IBM Systems Director is not available anymore (not even legacy downloads anymore?).
Please use our SNMP Tester (https://www.paessler.com/tools/snmptester), run it on the PRTG Host (or host of the Remote Probe), and perform a SNMP Walk against the target device on the following base OID:
Which results do you get in the Tester? Please send us the result logfile from the Tester. You can do this via email to support@paessler.com with reference to this KB - Post.
best regards
