How to monitor ping from remote hosts

Sometimes it's neccessary to monitor connectivity from a certain remote host instead of the probe, e.g. to monitor VPN routes the probe isn't part of. The default PING probe doesn't provide that feature.

You could use the SSH Remote Ping or WMI Remote Ping sensor for that :)
Remote Probes may also come in handy for tasks like that.
