SQL v2 sensor only suports Oracle 10.2 or higher.
There is a way to monitor Oracle 8?

Thank you for your knowledge base post.
With the new versions/improvements we only support version 10g and upwards.
Please note that Oracle 8 dates back to 1997, being developed up to 19972001, which means over 15 years old.
I'm very much afraid that we're no longer possible to support "legacy" versions and won't be able to help in this case.
