I have a cron job on a Linux box that I would like to monitor to confirm that it is running. I have SNMPD installed on the server but can't find the item to put in the snmpd.conf file to allow me to monitor it with a basic Linux library

Hi there,
I am not sure if it is possible to monitor a cronjob via SNMP. But you can use the "HTTP Push Data Advanced" sensor instead. You just have to include a small "wget" script to send a webrequest to PRTG. You can see an example of it on the following page: https://helpdesk.paessler.com/en/support/solutions/articles/70771
