Hi,
Microsoft have recently started issuing a preview of next months 'quality rollup' in their windows updates. https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/windowsitpro/2016/10/07/more-on-windows-7-and-windows-8-1-servicing-changes/ Many people would regard these previews as a betas and not want to install them on production systems.
Could the PRTG windows update sensor be modified to either not count these preview updates or assign them to a distinct channel. I don't want PRTG generating alerts based on these being missing.
Thanks,
Tim

Dear Tim,
Thank you very much for your support inquiry.
The preview updates contain non-security fixes which will affect either the Secure Updates (Low) or Security Update (Moderate) channel of the Windows Updates Status (Powershell) sensor.
The best way to prevent false alarms would be to change the current channel limit of the above mentioned channels.
Edit the regarding channel settings and either switch the radio button to Disable Limits or remove the predefined value 0,2. This configuration will still count missing updates but without showing a warning or error.
Best,
Sebastian Kniege
