Vulnerability with Chargen Service

Hi, one of our security scans is showing that the chargen service is running on our clustered PRTG Core Servers as described here http://www.tenable.com/plugins/index.php?view=single&id=10043. Our recommended course of action is to disable this service. Does PRTG rely on this service for operation?
