What is maximum number of probes free user can use ?

As title says what's the maximum number? Saw something about maximum of 3 but can't find the link anymore :/

Thank you very much for your KB-Post. There is no technical / numerical limited for number of probes coded into PRTG.
We recommend to not exceed 40 Remote Probes per PRTG Core Server though, in order to be on the safe side for load situations on PRTG.
