I tried to get a list of historical alarms form prtg in Excel. I did this using a call like this: https://prtg.***.**/api/table.xml?content=messages&output=csvtable&columns=objid,datetime,parent,type,name,status,message&count=1000000&start=1 but then I get nothinig more then about 88000 messages. I would like to get the whole alarm message history for at least a year back. Is that possible? For sensor data it is.

The messages are usually available for the last 30 days. You can change the value for future alarms via Setup / System Administration / Cores & Probes, "Historic Data Purging" / "Logfile Records".
