on the prtg core server i used the wmic command line and then process, now i can see all the username and password for all my devices that added to prtg!!!!!!!!!! as clear text cmd> wmic wmic:root\cli>process . . VMWareSensor.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\PRTG Network Monitor\Sensor System\VMwareSensor.exe" -s="X.X.X.X" -m="ha-host" -u="xxxxxxxxx" -p="xxxxxxxx" -i="60" . . is there any way to encrypt this password in the server???? although i use ssl encryption for web server login .

Thank you for your KB - Post. You are correct, this would be shown to users who have access to the host machines running a PRTG Probe. Which is why we strongly recommend, and actually define, the host machine of any PRTG Installation (full or "only" Remote Probe), needs to have a very tight security. Only selected admins should have access to such a machine. So persons, who will then know such credentials anyway.
Let me repeat this important bit, a PRTG Host machine needs to be secure and only accessible for selected trustworthy admins.
