Hi Team,
Is it possible to in the future look at adding the feature of adding the division and multiplications of results for SNMP Advanced ?
I've used this to map data from a heat exchanger however its reporting temps of 134c and 168c where it should be 13.4c and 16.8. I can get around this by doing individual sensors for each temp and then into one sensor with sensor factory, but this would be nicer to simply be able to do it in the advanced sensor one day.
Cheers,
Nick

Hi Luciano,
The scaling option would be perfect for me to use, however I have found that it doesn't display on our installation. We're running the latest version 16.2.24. I've had a look in both standard SNMP Custom sensors and the Advanced ones and can't see the options. http://iforce.co.nz/i/jtdptrm3.kic.png
Can you confirm I'm not missing anything or need to enable any extra features ?

This solution applies to PRTG Network Monitor 16.1.22 or later
Please be aware that this field is only visible for channels in a custom unit (Sometimes this needs to be defined in the sensor's settings first). As soon as the unit is defined as custom the multiplication/division settings will appear in the channel's settings.
And this option is not available for the following sensors which provide the scaling factor within their sensor settings:
- Sensor Factory Sensor
- SNMP APC Hardware Sensor
- SNMP Custom Sensor
- SNMP Dell Hardware Sensor
- SNMP Library Sensor
- WMI Custom Sensor

Hello Nick,
we appreciate your contact.
As we don't want to increase the complexity of the sensor's setup we will most likely never introduce this option in the sensor's settings, but as of recent PRTG versions it is possible to configure a Scaling Multiplication/Division in the Channel's settings to achieve the very same results.
