Hello,

we want to monitor some devices only when they are online. If they are offline we get the following message:

No response (check: firewalls, routing, snmp settings of device, IPs, SNMP version, community, passwords etc) (SNMP-Fehler # -2003)

Additionally the sensor go to state error, but its not really an error. The message ist correct, i know, but i dont want that the sensor got to error. What can i do in this case?

Hi Inrosic,

You can follow this article to automatically acknowledge the error status. Please note that it will not be possible to differentiate if it's an error defined by a limit or if the device is not reachable.

You can also define dependencies to pause the SNMP sensors if i.e. the Ping fails.

Best, Felix
