We have serveral machines that need to stop several services in order to backup. Now; it's possible to auto acknowledge the issue eg every night between 01:00 and 05:00 and generate an normal alarm at other times. While it's possible to schedule monitoring, in that case the data is lost between these timeframes; while with auto-ack the up-down times are preserved in the graph and table.

Dear Stijn
You can apply schedules to notification as well. In that case, you can either postpone, or discard the notifications generated during the notification pause. This is a per-notification setting, not a per-monitoring object setting.
