Hello,

As the title described. I'm wondering if there would be a MIB sensor for PRTG that shows/alerts when 2 LTM's are active under the same network? We are currently using 2 "F5" LTM's, but both cannot be online and active because it brings the network partially down. Currently one is active and one is on standby. If the one on standby goes active for some reason, we want a sensor that tells us both are online and active, and that is a bad.

Here is a list of some of the MIB sensors I am seeing.

Thank you!

Hello Zenfocus42,
thank you for your post.

According to the information available here and here it may be possible by using 3 sensors, we'll need a few resources to confirm this first.

  • Please forward us the mibs_f5.tar.gz file for analysis. The link tells you were to obtain it.
  • Additionally, please download our latest SNMP Tester and perform a Walk test against both target devices (both nodes) providing the "1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.1.1" OID (without quotes) as parameter. Please share the result logfile from the Tester.

NOTE: Feel free to contact us via a support ticket (and mention this post) if you prefer.

Best Regards,
