Is there a way to connect to a switch via SSH or Telnet within PRTG (or issue a connection via putty via PRTG)?

the above solution isn't really what I'm looking for. Is there a way within PRTG to have a "Connect to SSH" option on each of the devices? E.g. for Cisco and Juniper Routers/Switches.

This option is only available in the Enterprise Console. You can edit the "Device Tools" context menu over File -> Options -> Tools.
Until now is this feature not available in the Web GUI.

Dear Paessler Team
Would you mind please update us with any new feature on that topic ? If not, is there any roadmap to implement that ?
Basically, we are exposing the WEB PRTG GUI toward our customers, such that they can visualize their own PRTG nodes. From any sub-nodes, our customer is willing to trigger SSH connection through the "device tools" submenu.

I'm afraid the "Device Tools" in the webinterface of PRTG cannot be customized, due to sandbox limitations of modern browsers. So a SSH Login / Connection cannot be added in there. You can do this though in the Device Tool in the Enterprise Console.

PRTG network monitor - ENABLE TELNET-SSH ACTIONS IN DEVICE TOOLS - (Access Linux Servers, Cisco Switches and Routers)
Access to devices using Telnet - ssh protocols, can run making the integration of PRTG network monitor with KITTY application.
The function (Telnet, SSH) in PRTG can facilitate the work of network administrators, allowing direct access to Linux servers, Cisco switches and routers, through CLI command line interface using the Kitty application.

Hi,
you might have a look at the built in SSH Sensors of PRTG. Additional, you also might use putty to establish a connection to a target device.
Best regards
