Hello,

I cannot use sensor "SNMP NetApp I/O": No such object (SNMP error # 222)

But e.g. "SNMP NetApp System Health" works fine. I use snmp v2c.

Hello Michael,

Please use our SNMP Tester, configure it to point to the device in question, select option "Walk" on each of the following OIDs:

  • 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.2.2
  • 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.17

These are the base OIDs the sensor expects to get data from. What results do you get when scanning for each OID?

Kind regards.

Hi Michael,

Ok, so that explains the sensor message. Sure, the device delivers a lot of values when walking over 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.2 and 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1, but it does not provide counters for those OIDs relevant for I/O data. Here you find an overview of the OID structure and all counters.

It may be a configuration issue, please contact NetApp for further assistance on why you don't get data for these "sub-OIDs".

Kind regards.
