Can't add Hyper-v virtual machine sensor

I get the following error when attempting to add the Hyper-v virtual machine sensor to a host:

8004100E: The namespace specified could not be found.

I have confirmed that UAC is disabled and I have rebuilt the wbem files.

Thank you very much for your KB-Post. Just to check, the parent device, to which you try to add the sensor, is it the Hyper V Host Server?

How do I determine what the parent device is?

Just check to which device you want to add the sensor in PRTG. That is the parent device. Check its IP / Hostname, and check if that is the Hyper-V Host Server or not.
