We are monitoring a cisco 4507e switch. I am wondering how to get the port sensor to update its description when I change the description on the actual switch. Also is there a way to show the actual port number instead of just an arbitrary number. For instance, I would see something like (1/1-48) switch description as opposed to (01) switch description?
thanks

Hi,
check the SNMP Compatibility Options on tab Settings of the sensor's parent device. You are able to set the behaviour for port name updates there.
Best regards
