I have set some custom MIDS for printers to show me the number of pages printed these are only update once a day however if the printer fails then the sensor shows blank (i can check the history for the data) is there a faster way to keep the sensor showing the information and only updating when new information is available

You could simply add a schedule to the sensor that only is active during office hours. There is however no way to remove the blank area from the graphs.
