Since I made an update of the core server, "VMware Virtual Machine (SOAP)" sensors are sporadically down with the message.

Hello,

Kindly note that ESX 4 goes as back as 2009/2010, we have dropped support for these version since PRTG version 15.3.19.4028. Nevertheless the sensors should work if you update your ESX hosts to the latest official Update Level provided by VMWare.
