What I need is this....
A template...dashboard...map...whatever you want to call it...
But I need a map that's available to an external system (via API call) that has a fixed format...but allows me to tell it what device id (customer) to create it on.
I don't want to have to create a map for EVERY customer...not feasible. Just a template that's called. I pass the Device Id (for current customer)...and it returns the sensor map based on that customer's values. It is a fixed set of sensors. The customer will vary for each call.
It will be used in our call center's workflow when the customer calls in with a problem.
Seems like a SIMPLE request...but I haven't been able to find any solution yet with PRTG that supports this.

Templating maps is currently not possible with PRTG. Templating for maps is also not planned for the near future. Sorry.
