We are receiving SNMP trap messages but they are not in a readable form. How do we use the MIB in PRTG?

Hello,
Thank you very much for using PRTG. You can place the MIB-File into the "\MIB\"-subfolder of PRTGs Program Files directory. After a restart of the PRTG Core Service it will then be used to translate traps.
Please try to import / Load the MIB though with our MIB-Importer first, to check if it is syntactically correct. If it can be loaded without errors, then copy the MIB-File into the MIB-Subfolder.
best regards.

Where do I go to find the actual MIB file to import into the MIB Importer or the MIB subfolder?

Where would I go to locate the MIB-file so I can import it in the MIB-Importer?

Please consult with the vendor of the device, which send the traps, to get the MIB-File from the vendor.
