I'm encountering a situation where the QoS round-trip sensor is detecting packets out of order. If I setup 2 sensors using the one-way QoS sensor they are NOT detecting any packets out of order.

We are not seeing any issues with call quality so I'm suspecting PRTG is reporting incorrectly.

Hi qamccorkle,

If the one way QoS sensor works, but the roundtrip QoS indicates an error, this might indicate an issue on the returning route. Since VoIP packets are UDP, the call might work even if some packets are sent in the wrong order. Did you already setup a packet capturing software (like i.e. WireShark) to see if those packets arrive in the exact sequence? Which version of PRTG Network Monitor are you using at the moment?

Best regards, Felix
