I am trying to disable the down status for a specific sensor on a device, but even going by the steps on here https://helpdesk.paessler.com/en/support/solutions/articles/6683-how-can-i-disable-alerting-for-a-particular-channel-of-a-sensor and setting Limits to Disabled, I am still getting alerts. How can I disable alerts for this sensor?
Article Comments
It is a WMI Process sensor. We already have the triggers set that way with no triggers defined.

Hi there,
Just to be sure, do you want to stop the notifications for this down event or do you want the sensor to not show an alert? Then you could create a notification by following this guide.

There are currently no notifications, but we don't want any alerts either. We just want the Instances count, even if it is 0

Can you please upload a screenshot to an image hosting provider of your choice which shows the exact error message? Thank you!

I am looking for an imaging hosting provider. But here is the error message that is displayed when showing the alert status.
WMI: Process not found (code: PE009) -- PerfCounter: No data to return. (Performance Counter error 0x800007D5)

Ah, I see. This error is no result of any limit, but of the WMI / PerfCounter connection itself. Those error messages cannot be turned off completely, but you can acknowledge those sensors as soon as they enter the error state as mentioned above by following this article.

Hi gmilton
You just may change the notification of that sensor. Change the trigger to "only use the triggers below" and do not define any trigger. Maybe that suits you?
Which sensor is it you want to have no DOWN status alert?
