After the most recent round of Microsoft updates for Server 2003 (March 2012), the PRTG Core Server Service will not start by itself. Since it is Server 2003, we cannot configure it to start delayed (as per another KB article). Has anyone else reported any issues with this in the last two days?
Thanks, Matt

Thanks Konstantin, the support incident has been sent.
- Of note, this was resolved by installing PRTG on a server newer than Windows 2003 Server.

Hi Matt,
we are testing right at the moment but couldn't reproduce the issue so far. Can you please provide us mor details on the incident? What updates were installed? What is in the Event Log? Have you tried rebooting the server again? Does PRTG start up then?
Can you please send this information to support@paessler.com ?
Thank you!
Best regards
