Configure Internet Explorer for PRTG Windows GUI
By default, the Windows GUI internally uses Internet Explorer to view the content in the different tabs (e.g. tables and graphs). Especially on servers where Enhanced Security Configuration is enabled, this can lead to security warnings when web pages with scripts are loaded.
To solve this issue, please lower the Internet Explorer security level for connections to the PRTG web server (to do so, you can also add it to the Trusted Sites and set Medium security level there).
Generally, please follow the steps described in the article How can I access the AJAX web interface of PRTG 8 with Internet Explorer 8?
Note: With one of the next releases (2011), you will be able to choose which browser will be used within the Windows GUI.
