Hi,
All Linux hosts added thru auto-discovery have about 30 useless sensors called: Physical Disk: loop(x) and Physical Disk: ram9x).
We would like to exclude those sensors permanetly for future auto-discovery runs and newly added linux hosts (thru auto discovery). So we can keep auto-discovery on, without those senser ever being added again. (There are multiple device types per auto-discovery group)
How can we acchive this?

Thanks for your reply. To use pause would mean you would loose focus on current issue's which we have paused for the reaeon of being a problem with it.
Are there any upcoming features which would handle this more convenient?
(I have more suggestions to the auto-discovery which would improve usability, but will create seperate post for it.)

Hello.
This happens because that sensors work with what we call metascan.
Basically physical disks and memory are a table within SNMP(hrStorage) with one index per volume/disk/type of memory, we can't filter that out during auto-discovery because it is dynamic, the indexes change from system to system and sometimes within the same system when a new disk is added for example.
Our current solution to your question/issue is pausing the unwanted sensors instead of deleting them, that way they wont "monitor" anything and will also not count towards the licensed sensor count.
Otherwise create a device template without the Disk Sensors and add those manually instead.
